Fur. I am not really sure how I feel about having modelled for this. Don't get me wrong, amazing team to work with. I am just not a fan of real fur. Call me a hypocrite. I eat meat sometimes. I own a leather jacket. I have a hard time establishing my boundaries on the fur/meat-eating subject. I could become vegetarian very quickly if I let my mind think about it too much. I think I am just not ready to really commit to a moral stand on the subject. I am not opposed to recycled vintage fur. I'm just surprised that new fur products are still being created. Sure, make a coat out of road kill. The thing is, when you are in a new market, and you go your first couple weeks without a job...you're feeling pretty desperate for work. And then, you are given the cover of a magazine. I guess that can in some way explain how money, and growing in your career is responsible for nearly all of the world's bad decisions... but here it is. I did it. And I didn't let myself think about it too hard when I booked the job. However, I find myself struggling to post these and share them with the world with my face attached. Well, here they are. Here I am, in all my morally confused glory. Maybe I am not alone?
I must say,
they wanted me to look sad, and like my "boyfriend didn't come home that
night, left me for another woman"....but when I look at these, I see a
face thinking, I am wearing fur. I feel off about the fur..."
